French singer Emilie Chick joins Fish Go Deep for a journey back to better days, trying to, as Emilie puts it, “hold on to that magical feeling of live shows, of travelling around the world” that seem like fading memories in late 2020.
But there is hope: we need to hang in there, to “pretend” to be, as she sings on the uplifting chorus, “travelling festivals and dance floors.”

Fish Go Deep's Vocal Mix lays the emotional lyric over lush, airy chords and a deep bass pulse. Their dub pushes percussion to the fore, building tension with a rising analogue synth sequence, then releasing with a choice line of vocal.
And Glasgow's finest, The Revenge, rounds off the EP with a blistering, bass-heavy dance floor remix that simply begs to be played loud.
